FARM 

Thanks to staff and students for your work over the past week. There has been plenty of feeding to maintain livestock as we wait for rain and several projects commencing with the Farm ticking along nicely.

This week:

• The rain is falling.
• The first lamb has hit the ground running.
• Beef calves are coming quickly.
• Avocados are being harvested.
• Milk continues to go in the vat.
• Lime has been spread.
• The Harvey Show has come and gone with a few prizes for veggies and eggs.
• A few fences have been replaced.
• Bob is happy in the butchershop with the quality of carcasses being delivered.
• And the old cattle yards are coming down with students working on the designs for when they go up at Beef.

Student Rosters

The weekly student roster for Farm has been completed and is displayed around the College. Year 10 and 11 students are encouraged to take special note of the Weekend Stock Roster as their attendance is a requirement of their Farm learning program.
