This is the time of the year to remind parents and students of some school procedures.
Reminder Re Mobile Phone Policy
The Department of Education does not permit student use of mobile phones in public schools unless for medical or teacher directed educational purpose. At the College students are not permitted to be in possession of their mobile phone during the school day. Mobile phones for students can be stored in their lockers or dormitories.
Student will loss their good standing if they are in possession of their mobile phones.
Jewellery
Whilst students are representing the College in their uniform, they have no need to wear adornments of jewellery, other than a watch. Anything else represents a safety or health hazard and a student will be asked to remove the item.
A maximum of 2 sleepers and studs per ear is approved. Students who consistently breech this policy may have their jewellery confiscated and their status changed. The Principal may reserve the right to intervene in the event of dispute. Medic Alert bracelets/necklaces are acceptable.
Punctuality & Sickness
Punctuality
It is important to get to your class on time. An attendance roll is taken at the beginning of each day. If you have to go into a class after it has commenced, knock and wait to be asked to enter and explain your reasons for being late. Day students have been asked to be at school by 7.45am.
Country Week
Final teams selection will be done by the end of Week 4 (next week). Payment and information will then be emailed.
