Livestock judging is an integral part of developing our students and supports the learning occurring during Agriculture lessons. Students have opportunities to handle livestock and learn how to prepare animals for showing. This has allowed our students to grow in their understanding and confidence around animals. The importance of being able to speak about the positive and negative attributes of the animals also supports student learning as a way of expressing their understanding of the theoretical components of the course.
