Dear Parents and Carers
Easter Raffle
You will find details of our wonderful Easter Raffle in the Parents' Association page of this newsletter. I encourage all families to support this fundraiser. The prizes are on display in the office
Naplan
This week the Yr.3 and 5 students have commenced their Naplan testing. For some students this can be stressful. The staff are amazing at ensuring the children feel comfortable in completing the variety assessment tasks.
On Wednesday the students completed the writing task and today the reading assessment task. On Monday and Tuesday of next week they will complete the next two assessments. Parents will be provided with the results sometime during Term 2.
Anointing Mass
Tomorrow the Anointing Mass for the parish will be held in the church followed by lunch in the hall. This means that assembly will be changed from this week to next week. our students will have a buddies session this week. Thank you for your understanding.
Office staff
There will be a slight change to the office arrangements for the remainder of the year. Chris Comand will now be in on a Thursday and Amanda will be working Monday, Tuesday and Wednesdays.
Prep Enrolments for 2025
‘School Tours’ have commenced for Prep enrolments for 2025. If you have a sibling who will be commencing Foundation/Prep in 2025, please call the Office to receive a copy of the enrolment form. This will secure your position as well as ensure we can track our enrolment numbers. The enolment form can also be found on our website. Please spread the word.
Cross Country
Our annual cross country event will be held on Friday 3rd May at Myrtle Park. Please check your email for an operoo form to complete.
MACS - Vision for learning
The Melbourne Achdioceces of Catholic Schools (MACS) has launched their vision for Instruction. It is an interesting read and clearly states our objectives as catholic schools. I encourage parents to have a read. You can find the link below.
There are only two weeks left of Term1!!!! Thank you to everyone for your support. Just a reminder that Term 1 finishes at 1.00pm on Thursday 28th March.
