On Monday, Grade 3-6 swimming champions competed against 6 other schools in the Huon and Channel area.
Everyone put in 100% and worked together as a team.
We are very proud to say we walked away with the shield!
Congratulations to all the students involved!
Bu Ambrose and Pak Campbell celebrating Harmony Day by wearing traditional Indonesian batik designs and displaying the 'Merah dan Putih' - red and white Indonesian flag (which could also be the Polish flag!)
SCC mothers and motherly carers are asked to save the date for a special Mother's Day Breakfast - 9 May. More details to come in next week's newsletter, but preparations is underway.
This week Kinder students have been helping Mrs Mahoney by making lots of place mats for our special Mother's Day Breakfast. Students enjoyed being creative and using their fine motor skills as they used water colours to make these beautiful and colourful designs.
The College newsletter can be read in over 100 different languages (powered by Google translate) online. There is a drop down menu on the bottom of every page which allows readers to select a new language.
You can view past newsletters through the Newsletter Archive which is also found at the bottom of each page. The archive page is a great page to save as a favourite on your browser to always have the latest newsletter easily found.
Parents and friends of the College are reminded not to park over driveways, or too close to driveways, on Redwood Road or in the surrounding side streets. Thank you!
It's Nachos time! SCC Canteen is on Friday 5 April. Ordering is open through the Qkr! app until Wednesday 3 April at 6pm. GF nachos with optional toppings, brownies and a drink! Yum!
The Android Phone issue has now been resolved, parents/users can now download the Qkr! app from the Google Play Store.

The Isham family participated in the Rare Cancers Australia 'Kosi Climb' by climbing Mount Kosciuszko on Saturday!
The Kosi Challenge is an annual event hosted by Rare Cancers Australia (RCA) to raise awareness and much needed funds for Australians diagnosed with a rare, less common or complex cancer each year.
