Grade 3/4 News

We welcome back the students and we are excited for a big term of learning in Term 2. 

This term we are introducing the new topic of geography.

We will be investigating how the Australian continent is divided into many Aboriginal Countries and Torres Strait Islander Places, drawing on languages, maps and geographical features through our investigations. 

We will learn the location of major countries of Africa and South America in relation to Australia and their major characteristics including the types of vegetation and native animals in these continents.  

In maths we begin with addition and subtraction.  

Please remember to label jumpers as we move into colder weather.
