Hands On Learning

We’ve had a busy few weeks as the school year comes to an end. The Hands on Learning team had the pleasure of planning, creating, and preparing a Hands on Learning Cafe for the Foundation students last Friday. 

The HOL team worked together to cook and serve lunch to 75 preps. The experience was something all students will be sure to remember. I am so proud of their achievements this year, watching their confidence grow and then expanding their hands-on learning skill base. 

This week we were asked to cater for the Volunteer Appreciation Morning Tea. Again, the students went above and beyond to cook, present, and serve morning tea to our WEPS volunteers. One of the students commented, “This makes me feel so good inside.” What a joy to hear, Hands on Learning truly making a positive difference to their schooling. 

Next week, on Tuesday, we will celebrate the end of the year with a celebration picnic at Fletcher Jones Gardens.
