Thank you to our student leaders and peer mediators
Sushi Party for our student leaders
Our departing student leaders enjoyed a sushi party on Wednesday! Big thank you to this amazing team of bright young people for their outstanding work throughout the year, and for being inspiring role-models for the younger students. Good luck to you all, we will miss you !
End Of Year Pizza Party For Our 2024 Peer Mediators
Our 2024 Peer Mediators celebrated the end of the year with a Pizza Party and other treats! This was to thank them and acknowledge them for all their hard work throughout the year.
The Peer Mediators have played a crucial role in supporting their peers in the yard and enabling students to resolve conflict and helping to keep our yard safe. They have worked tirelessly and shown responsibility, initiative and dedication. The Peer Mediators have given up their recess and lunch breaks to be active in the school yard and also to attend weekly meetings.
A special thanks to Lou Hoban and Mia Jones - our ‘Peer Mediation Coordinators’ for your excellent supervision and running of the program to ensure it remains a success. Also, a BIG thank you to Charlotte Chang for taking on the very complex task of creating the timetable to ensure we have enough Mediators in the yard each day.
Additionally, a HUGE thank you to our parent Jude Levy for your support of the program, for providing extra snacks for our party and for donating a purple light to be hung over the Peer Mediation Station for 2025.
Thank you to ALL the Peer Mediators for your dedication and commitment to this very important program. You are all true HEROES and ambassadors for our school and your work does not go unnoticed.
We look forward to training our new Peer Mediators in 2025 and for the continued success of the program.
Have a wonderful break!
