The work that goes on behind the scenes every day at the College to make sure everything is organised for our teachers and students is done by a magnificent team. I would like to take this opportunity to thank them for all they do to make sure our students have the very best care and learning opportunities.
Our Community is a special place and we are privileged to follow in the Sisters of Charities footsteps as we do all we can to support the students in our care.
The Business Services team take this opportunity to thank all families for their support in 2024.

A Word from the Counsellor - Empathy v Sympathy
Rarely can a response make something better. What makes something better is connection.
In this beautifully animated RSA Short, Dr Brené Brown reminds us that we can only create a genuine empathic connection if we are brave enough to really get in touch with our own fragilities.
Empathy and sympathy both involve understanding and responding to others' emotions, but empathy offers deeper benefits. Empathy allows us to connect by truly understanding another person's feelings and experiences, fostering compassion and support in a way that feels validating and nonjudgmental. Empathy builds stronger relationships, promotes emotional growth, and encourages meaningful support, while sympathy may unintentionally reinforce a power imbalance. Next time you are comforting someone else, or needing comforting yourself, try a little empathy.
College Uniform Shop
The Uniform Shop will reopen for 2025 on Monday 20 January and operate 12.00pm – 5.00pm daily until Thursday 6 February. This period is primarily for the collection of layby orders and any ‘last minute’ small purchases. It should not be relied upon for fitting appointments.
Over the holiday break, parents/carers can still place orders via the Qkr app. These orders will be fulfilled the week commencing 20 January when the Shop re-opens. Please allow a 3-day turnaround for fulfilling orders.
If you place an order via the Qkr app and cannot get to the Uniform Shop during the holidays, your items will be available at Students Services (College Office) on the first day of Term 1 (Tuesday 11 February).
The Uniform Shop will resume regular trading hours on Tuesday 11 February 2025.
Book Drop
Students and families are encouraged to take advantage of our Book Drop service on the following days, allowing them to bring their books and stationery supplies and place in their locker in readiness for the first day of school.
- Thursday 6 February : 3.00pm – 4.30pm
- Friday 7 February : 8.30am – 10.30am
Kinder – Year 6 students are to go their 2025 classrooms and Years 8 – 10 students are to go to the undercroft to receive their locker allocation.
Friday 8 February is the first day of the new school year for Year 7 students, so they can wait until this day to bring their books and stationery supplies as locker allocation will be part of day’s activities.
