A Christmas Blessing Prayer
Heavenly Father,
As we gather to celebrate the birth of Your Son, Jesus Christ,
we thank You for the gift of salvation, hope, and everlasting love.
Bless our hearts with peace and joy in this holy season.
May the light of Christ shine brightly in our lives,
illuminating our homes with love, forgiveness, and unity.
We ask for Your blessings upon our family, friends, and all who are in need.
Bring comfort to the lonely, provision to the needy,
and healing to those who are sick or weary.
May Your grace guide us to share Your love with others,
spreading kindness, generosity, and compassion wherever we go.
Lord, remind us of the true meaning of Christmas—the gift of Your Son, who came to bring us life and light.
Help us to carry that light into the world,
living as beacons of faith, hope, and love.
In Jesus' holy name, we pray,
Amen.
Farewell to 2024
As we approach the conclusion of another remarkable year, we pause to reflect on the many blessings and achievements that have defined our school community in 2024. This season of Advent invites us to prepare our hearts for the joy of Christmas, a time of hope, love, and togetherness. It is in this spirit that we celebrate all that we have accomplished together as a community.
This year has been one of great success and growth for our students. From academic milestones to achievements in the arts, sports, and service, our students have exemplified resilience, creativity, and kindness. We could not be prouder of their hard work and dedication, which continue to inspire us all.
Our staff have played an integral role in these successes, demonstrating extraordinary commitment and passion for nurturing and guiding our students. Their tireless efforts to provide an engaging, supportive, and enriching environment do not go unnoticed. We extend our deepest gratitude to every teacher, support staff member, and leader who has contributed to making this year so impactful.
We also wish to thank our families and the wider community for their unwavering support and involvement. Whether through volunteering, attending events, or simply encouraging your children in their learning journeys, your partnership remains vital to our shared mission of fostering a vibrant, inclusive, and thriving school community.
Another exciting highlight of the year has been the progress on our new building project. We are thrilled to share that the roof is set to go on just in time for Christmas. This milestone marks a significant step forward in creating a modern and inspiring space for our students to learn and grow. We look forward to unveiling the completed project and all the opportunities it will bring in the near future.
As we look ahead to the holiday season, we wish each of you a joyous and peaceful Christmas. May this time be filled with laughter, love, and cherished moments with family and friends. We also hope you enjoy a restful break and return refreshed and ready for another exciting year ahead.
I remind all families to keep an eye out for notifications towards the end of January as we start to prepare for the year ahead. There will be some significant changes in terms of supporting positive behaviour and our phone policy in particular. I also encourage all families to drop in during our book drop off sessions - a great way to get a sense of the space, meet teachers, check out classrooms and be ready for a busy Term 1.
Thank you once again for being a part of our wonderful school community. Here’s to celebrating the joy of Christmas and the promise of a bright new year together!
