Principal's Report

Year 12 exams have been running smoothly, thanks to the planning and preparation by Beth Crossman, Nathan Beck and a team of exam supervisors. It’s not long to go now and the VCAA exams will conclude. In the meantime, our Year 10 and 11 students are preparing for their upcoming exams and their step up classes.

Staff are in an interesting situation at the moment as they focus on finishing this year’s classes, but they also start working on next year’s classes. There has been excellent teamwork, collaboration and planning taking place so we are in a good position to start next year well. We are also looking forward to meeting with our 2024 Year 7 families again as they attend our Information Night on Wednesday 22 November.

Student behaviour can be a little unsettled at this time of the year with subject allocations, exams, step up, assessments, end of year exhaustion and increased social activities. I ask that parents support the College with holding firm to behavioural expectations and supporting staff. It is together that we will navigate the teenage years with success. This includes informing the College if your child is going to be absent from school. This really helps as with our administration and records and also ensures you are aware of your child during the school day.
