Year 10 Community Service
Some of our Year 10 Religion students had the opportunity to demonstrate servant leadership within our community during their Term 3 Religion classes.
From stocking the food pantry at Echuca Neighbourhood House, learning laundry skills and creating relationships at Laundry Mates, assisting primary school children in the classroom, having meaningful conversations with the Senior Program at Snap Fitness to assisting at day care at Berrimba - our students have been making a positive contribution to our local community in a number of areas.
The Year 10 community service program is a great opportunity for students to learn valuable life skills, as well as interact with different community members from different walks of life.
A big thank you to the businesses and schools for hosting our students. We are very grateful to St Mary's Primary School, Echuca Special School, Twin Rivers Primary School, 208 Primary School, Laundry Mates, Berrimba Childcare and Snap Fitness for welcoming our students and allowing them to have this wonderful opportunity.
We would like to congratulate our students for participating with such enthusiasm - you made us all very proud!
