This week in Writing we are learning to write a narrative that considers the audience and purpose. 

VOCABULARY

Narrative: A story.

Climax: the turning point of a story when the main character's problem begins to be solved or resolved

Resolution: the end of the story. 

ACTIVITIES YOU CAN DO AT HOME TO SUPPORT YOUR CHILD'S LEARNING

Continuing on from last week, ask your child to write the exciting ending/climax and resolution to finish their narrative. Have them use the checklist below to ensure all elements are included in their narrative.
