Principal's message

Dear God,

It is through you that we know love.

May we open our hearts to your Spirit so that we can choose the life of love which you call us to.

Help us to grow in our awareness of how our choices can affect others in our families, at school and in our community so that we can grow to become the people that you dreamed us to be.

Amen

Dear Parents,

This Thursday evening at 6.00 pm our grade three students who have been participating in the sacramental preparation sessions,  will receive the sacrament of Reconciliation for the first time.

The children and their families will gather in the chapel at 6.00 pm for the ceremony and will be joined by Father Nathan and Monsignor Chris.

Please remember these children in your prayers.

ART  Show

Our ART Show Opening night is on Friday, 17th November.  Tickets are available via the link  in the newsletter.

Are you able to help?

We would be grateful for parent volunteers to nominate a time in the roster below, to help support the running of the art show.

Over the year we don’t have a lot of occasions when we ask for helpers, so this is your chance to support the school and volunteer your time.

Thank you

Class groupings 2024

Each year, staff spend considerable time in forming the classes for the following year.  This process involves much gathering of information from previous teachers to ensure the best fit in class for all children.

Work habits, special support, friendships, personality are all considered when making group placements.  Our teachers are professionals who know that a balanced class structure is the most appropriate fit for all students.

Parent requests are not necessary, as teachers are creating balanced groups that consider all children and not just one.  Our teachers have already worked with the children, so they are aware of possible  clashes amongst children and aim to avoid these situations for the betterment of all in the class.

We appreciate our parents  leaving class placements up to our teachers and trust their professional judgement.

Thank you

Have a great week everyone !
