Principal's Report

Dear families,

Our concert is just around the corner, students have been busy rehearing their acts. Next Thursday night promises to be another amazing night. Students are required to be at the venue by 6.15pm ready for the 6.30 start. Please remember to bring costumes by next Monday 13th November.

LONG SERVICE LEAVE

Commencing next Friday, I will be taking a week’s Long Service Leave. Filippa will be filling in for me while I am away. Maria Serra will be replacing her in the classroom. My daughter and I will be spending time in Sri Lanka. A special thank you to Mandy Charquero and her parents for all their helpful tips. It was certainly a very thoughtful gesture and will enable us to have great background knowledge on the country we are visiting. I’m sure it will be a wonderful experience for us. 

FAREWELL TONI MARIE

Sadly, tomorrow is Toni Maree’s last day.  She has accepted another position closer to home. Toolamba Out of School Hours Care have been very fortunate to have such a dedicated caring person on our staff.  Our best wishes go with her. She will certainly be missed by both students and staff. 

URSTRONG PARENT INFORMATION SESSION

In line with or Social Skills program we have booked a parent information session for 22nd February next year. We encourage you to keep this date free. The Language of Friendship (parent-child) workshop is an online, 75-minute workshop which provides parents with a host of tips and URSTRONG’s common language to support their children. 

GRADE 3 /4 CAMP

On Wednesday 22nd November Grade 3 / 4 students will be heading to the Yarra Valley for their Camp Toolangi adventure. Mrs Bathman, Mr Tarrant and Miss Maskell will be the teachers attending.
