Victoria M (Year 10)

A special congratulations goes to Victoria and her friends who have done amazing work in building Australia's first child-operate charity group 'Jiayaun Charity'. They have just received official government approval. The charity organises various events such as concerts, as their main form of raising money for good causes. Last year, Victoria was mentioned in the Australian Bee Journal and received much recognition from her charitable work supporting the Collingwood Children’s Farm Apiary (CCFA) and the Australian Honey Bee Industry Council (AHBIC) - thanks to the music concerts.

The article below is taken from the Australian Bee Journal and features Victoria's reflection on giving back to the community combined with the positive influence of music:

Well done Victoria!

Tiasha S (Year 9)

Tiasha participated in the Berthe Mouchette Competition back in July. She won first prize for the Year 9 students that competed from 91 schools with 939 enrolments and 127 finalists which is an amazing result for her and Huntingtower.
