Downie Shield and Berg Shield - Cricket
The Downie Shield is a state wide cricket tournament which sees schools from all over NSW compete. It was exciting to enter this competition for the first time this year. Our Open boys team played earlier this week and narrowly went down against Magdalene Catholic College in a tight game but are to be commended for their efforts until the very end of the game.
Our Berg Shield team (Year 7 - Year 9) will play against St Dominic’s next week. We wish the boys the very best of luck next week. It is sure to be great game!
Touch Football Gala Day and Wanderers Fives Soccer Gala Day
Recently we have teams participate in various gala days, including touch football and soccer. Our next gala day we will be participating in is a primary Basketball Gala Day. These days are always fun days where our students are given the opportunity to compete in a fun atmosphere against other schools from the Parramatta Diocese.
Thursday Rep Sport
Season 3 of rep sport has continued into this team. Boys cricket, girls basketball and girls and boys touch football are the teams participating this term. Over the next week or so, we will see this season come to an end. We wish all our teams the best of luck in their final games of the season.
