Term 4, Week 4
A gentle reminder that the seeds we plant take time to blossom- this is the case both with our students, and ourselves. Good things take time, consistency and patience.
Inflatable World
Inflatable World was a huge success! I hope you came away having enjoyed the experience, and better yet seen the excitement on students faces as they immersed themselves in all that was to offer. A HUGE thank you to YOU, the team behind supporting students both in the lead up to, and on the day. It takes a village, and this MSS village is wonderful.
SSG’s
A reminder that SSG’s take place in Weeks 8-10. Please take some time to brainstorm in the lead up to, key pieces of information or discussion items specific to each of your students, particularly as we head into 2024.
JSA Colour Run
We have the Colour Run on Monday 18th December which will take place on site at JSA.
PLC’s
PLC’s will run on Monday afternoon in Weeks 4, 5 and 7. All teachers are to attend.
Professional Learning (PL)
Professional Learning (PL) continues to occur on Thursday afternoons, with a specific focus. It has been great to see a mix of both ES and teachers attending.
Student Profiles
Please ensure these are the focus of the term ahead both during CTM’s and day to day. Throughout your week be sure to update these as needed, making sure to identify any changes in behaviour, likes, dislikes or updates to external support. Please note, it is important that all members of the classroom team have an opportunity to add to these.
Graduation
To those of you who have students graduating this year, please ensure you have filled out the Google document detailing a short insight into the students accomplishments at JSA. This was due on Thursday 19th October.
MSS Awards
On the Google document provided late, please ensure that you have detailed the award being given to students to end their 2023 school year. This was due by Thursday 19th October.
School Service Award
As per the email sent two weeks ago, please send your nominations through to Karen Glare.
I hope you have a great week and an even better term ahead. As always, please let me know if you have any concerns, questions, or just want to have a quick touch base!
