Parent – Student- Teacher Interviews

Schools work best when parents, students and staff are aligned and working in collaboration. At Trinity we are always grateful for the support which we receive from our parent community. Monday provided an opportunity for you to demonstrate your support of the school and your son’s education by attending the Parent-Student- Teacher Interviews.

For staff, this not only provides an opportunity for us to celebrate the great things your son has achieved in Term One but also highlights areas for growth and a chance to set realistic goals for the remainder of Semester One. We thank you for trusting us with your son’s education and personal growth, we genuinely love our jobs and this vibrant community, because of you and your son.

It has been wonderful to welcome the boys back to the College this week. They all look very smart in their Winter uniform. I look forward to another positive Term.

God Bless,

James McPherson

HOJS Forum

I would like to invite parents to attend a forum to discuss Term One in the Junior School. This will allow me a chance to hear feedback from you regarding the first Term and answer any questions you have regarding the running of the Junior School. Whilst I am happy to answer any questions, I will specifically be discussing the change to our co- curricular and homework clubs, the restorative practice process and our recently introduced cue to start. The forum will take place on Friday, 16 May at 1.50pm in Gibney Hall, prior to our Junior School TOBA assembly.

Edmund Rice Day

Our annual Edmund Rice Day will be on Tuesday, 13 May.  All Junior School students will be asked to provide items for a whole school cake stall at (morning tea as part of this fundraising day. We will share more details throughout next week. A reminder that Junior School students will wear their Faction Uniform on the day. All students are asked to bring a $2 gold coin donation, collected by their Class Teacher on the morning of Edmund Rice Day. Additionally, boys can commence fundraising for their Fun Run For India, via this link Fun Run For India – Trinity College

TCEC Leading the Way

Did you know... Our Year 4 students in TCEC are leading the way in collecting pull tabs from cans to support the incredible work of Brother Ollie’s Wheelchairs, a charity that helps provide wheelchairs to those less fortunate, both locally and overseas. These small pieces of aluminium might seem insignificant, but when collected in large amounts, they can be recycled to raise funds for wheelchairs and mobility aids. It’s a simple way to make a big difference in someone's life!

You can drop off your pull tabs any time, just pop them in the blue collection bin located in the STEM room!

One student who has truly embraced this initiative is Chase in Year 4. Inspired by the mission of Brother Ollie’s Wheelchairs, Chase has gone above and beyond by reaching out to his local community to support the cause. He’s even created a special pull tab collection container near his home, encouraging his neighbours to drop their pull tabs in as they walk by!

What an amazing example of student initiative and community spirit! Let’s follow Chase’s lead and keep those pull tabs coming in. Every little bit counts!
