Year 7 Camp

Our Year 7 students recently returned from an exciting and enriching camp experience that was filled with adventure, teamwork, lasting memories and mud. Held at  from the Great Aussie Bush Camp in Tea Gardens, the camp provided a wonderful opportunity for students to challenge themselves, build new friendships, and strengthen their sense of community.

Activities throughout the camp included abseiling, kayaking, testing teamwork skills and problem solving to build ziplines for Gully Crossing, and participating in a range of other initiative-based group tasks. Each activity encouraged students to step outside their comfort zones and work collaboratively with their peers.

Day one welcomed us with sunshine and energy, setting a positive tone for the days ahead. Even as the weather turned to rain on days two and three, students demonstrated remarkable resilience and adaptability. Their enthusiasm, persistence, and support for one another were evident in every challenge they faced—rain or shine.

We are incredibly proud of the way our Year 7 cohort represented our school, and we thank the dedicated who made this experience possible - Mrs McFarland, Mrs Eastlake, Mrs Magann, Miss Spicer, Mr Fastier, Mr Myers, Mr Andrews and Mr McCann.
