FUTURE TEACHERS CLUB

O’Connor has a newly established Future Teachers Club made up of a passionate group of stage 6 students with a shared interest in pursuing a teaching career. Earlier this term, FTC visited the School of Education at UNE, where they met Dr Casey Mainsbridge. Dr Casey along with third year education student, Maddy shared some insights into teacher education and explained what is involved in completing a teaching degree. FTC students shared what had led them to consider a teaching career and the session was filled with passionate questions and discussion about this wonderful and rewarding career pathway.
