2025 Term 2 Level 1 Newsletter

Welcome and overall learning summary

Welcome back! We are extremely excited for another fantastic term of learning. First, we would like to extend a warm welcome to all new families who have joined our school this term. The Level One team looks forward to building positive and supportive relationships with you and your children. This term, the students will engage in a range of rich experiences to deepen their learning across all curriculum areas. They will learn about their own needs to survive and thrive, as well as what animals need, through an Inquiry lens. By collecting Student Voice from our Year 1 learners, we have curated hands-on learning opportunities which include engaging with real life animals in the classroom to transfer their learning. Learners will continue to develop strategies and build confidence in Literacy, Numeracy and Wellbeing as they work towards independently setting and achieving learning goals.
