ANZAC DAWN SERVICE:
Many thanks to our students, staff and parents who attended the moving Dawn Service.
VISIT TO GUARDIAN CHILDCARE:
Santi's Dad (who is the chef ) invited us to Guardian childcare to read stories and play with the pre schoolers. The roof top garden was amazing! I don't think our students wanted to leave!
BAKE SALE:
Huge THANK YOU to all our parents who helped out with baking and manning the stall and BBQ for our Election Day bake sale - it was a great success with the funds raised going directly to our garden upgrade project. Thanks also to Clare and Pamela for all their work behind the scenes - we couldn't have done it without you.
Mother's Day/Special Person's Day celebrations:
The school was abuzz last Thursday afternoon in the art room, music room and spilling out into the other areas.
Our Stephanie Alexander chefs ( grade 3-6) had whipped up slices, truffles, and scones which we all enjoyed with our special people. Thanks for all your work Mandy and Bronwyn.
I hope all our special people enjoyed some extra love on Sunday.
KABOOM PERCUSSION:
If you are wondering why your children are asking for access to the pots and pans, cardboard boxes and wooden spoons - it is all thanks to our fabulous incursion session with Kaboom Percusssion- all our students thoroughly enjoyed the performance. The performers used lots of household items to make fabulous sounds.
FUTURE MONASH:
Our Captains were invited into the Council Chambers to workshop their thoughts on how Monash should look in the future - our students were consulted on community hub planning, thier likes and dislikes about Monash and had a delicious morning tea. They were all thrilled to sit in the big comfy seats in the Council Chambers.
ENROLMENTS WELCOME:
If you know a Prep student for 2026 - please invite them to come on a tour of our wonderful school.
Sickness/feeling unwell?
If your child is feeling unwell - please keep them at home so they recover more quickly and other staff and students are not impacted. Thanks in advance.
Thank you everyone, there is a fantastic community vibe around our school which we are really loving. Please flick through all the pages of our Newsletter for more stories and photos.
Are your children able to find the question in this Newsletter and answer it - they know what to do - post their answer in the box in the Office.
Have a wonderful weekend, enjoy the sun while it lasts.
Take care and be kind.
