As part of Hampton's whole school Wellbeing curriculum, the children will continue to engage with our school norms of Collaboration, Aspiration, Integrity and Resilience.

 

Throughout the term, we will focus specifically on Emotional Literacy and Positive Help Seeking behaviour.  Students will take part in authentic learning experiences incorporating the Resilience, Rights and Respectful Relationships (RRRR) Program and Visible Wellbeing Framework.  

 

Students will: 

  • Identify, express and describe their emotions.
  • Investigate practical strategies to help regulate their emotions.
  • Workshop strategies for creating kind and positive connections with their friends.  
  • Explore proactive help seeking behaviours, including how they can ask for help and who they can approach if they have a serious problem.
  • Discuss how they can help their friends when the have a problem.
