Principal's Message

Dear Families
How lucky have we been with the beautiful, sunny days recently! The warm weather has been great for our recent Grade 6 camp and for all of our school sporting events.
Year 6 Camp
Last week our Year 6 students spent 3 days at Camp Adanac in Yarra Junction. The camp experience was positive and full of many highlights, of which the waterslide and flying fox were very popular. Students were pushed out of their comfort zones, trying new activities, new foods, fostering and developing social connections and independence. Over the three day period, staff shared how proud they were of students' behaviour and resilience. Well done to everyone on a wonderful camp experience!
Year 6 Sports
On Monday our Year 6 girls participated in a footy gala day. They had a wonderful day putting their footy skills into action and representing our school. Today our Year 6 students are off to compete in a round robin tournament, where they are playing netball, soccer, T-ball and football. We know they will have a fun day .
Thank you to parents
A BIG thank you to all of our parents who volunteered their time to help out with the Mother's Day stall and Election Day BBQ. Your assistance is very much appreciated.
Garden
Our new garden will open tomorrow. It will be a great addition to our play spaces and the outside school environment. Please take the opportunity to wander down and have a look.
Breakfast Club
On Tuesday we launched the school breakfast club. We had an incredible turn out and lots of full and happy tummies afterwards. We look forward to doing it all again next Tuesday morning.
Thanks
