Grade 3/4 News

The students in Grade Three and Four have settled well into Term 2. This Term, our focus in Inquiry is Biological Science. The students will be studying life cycles, food chains and ecosystems. This will include growing their own plants. 

In Mathematics, the students have started the term learning addition and subtraction strategies. In weeks 3 & 4, the focus will be on collecting and representing data. 

In Reading and Writing, we have switched our focus to information reports, with a particular emphasis on learning the purpose and features of this text type.
