Emmanuel College News
Last Friday we celebrated Marianist Day, a special occasion to reflect on the mission and ethos of Emmanuel College and the values of the Society of Mary, founded by Blessed William Joseph Chaminade in France in 1817. We were grateful to have Fr Binh Le at Notre Dame Campus and Fr Michael Kalka at St Paul’s Campus, join us for Mass, and we thank them both for leading such a meaningful celebration.
The day was filled with joy and energy as students got involved in a huge range of activities. There was something for everyone – from Dungeons and Dragons and Warhammer Clubs to a rock-climbing wall, bungee fun run, basketball games, and even a dunking machine to help raise funds for social justice. Carnival rides, soccer matches, and delicious food stalls added to the festive atmosphere, making it a day to remember.
It was also a pleasure to welcome prospective families to our Meet the Principal event at the St Paul’s Campus last Thursday. Our wonderful student ambassadors led campus tours, giving families a real sense of the Emmanuel community.
If you missed it and would like to meet the Principal and explore our Notre Dame Campus, we’d love to see you this Thursday 8 May from 9:15am to 10:30am. Registration is essential, so be sure to sign up through our online form. There’s also another opportunity to visit Notre Dame on Tuesday 17 June, and St Paul’s Campus on Monday 23 June, both from 9:15am to 10:30am.
Registration for all events is available here: Meet the Principal and Tour registration
