Term four is well and truly in full swing!
We wish our Year 12s, doing the VCE, all the best with their exams and remind them all that a number will never define who you are. We also have our Year 7-11 students finishing off key classwork for the year, they too will be preparing for end of year exams shortly.

There are some great strategies and information on the following websites, giving study tips, practical strategies to manage exam stress and ways parents and carers can support children at home:

Live4Life Year 8 Celebration Event
On Wednesday, 29th October, our Year 8 students and Life4Life Crew members attended the Live4Life celebration event, at THAC. Students heard more about the Live4Life program and participated in a range of fun activities prepared by the crew.
Our Monivae Year 8 students will begin their Junior Teen Mental Health First Aid next week (week 5) and this will continue through into weeks 6 and 7. Timetables with the classes that will be disrupted have been emailed to all students and further information has been emailed out to Monivae parents/carers . This program is incredibly important and gives students the skills to recognise when their friends might not be travelling so well with their mental health, and how they can help them. It is a powerful peer-to-peer model of early intervention.
