WELLBEING REPORT
MS MANDY MCCALLUM & MS GEMMA PHELAN - DIRECTORS OF WELLBEING

This week was a wonderful celebration of connection, creativity, and community as we came together for Mental Health Week. The week was filled with activities that encouraged students and staff to reflect, participate, and enjoy time together.
On Wednesday, students enjoyed casual dress day, bringing along gold coin donations to raise money for Beyond Blue. Lunchtime saw everyone gather for The Big Blue Table, where homerooms sat together to share lunch and connect as a community in the JC. Zooper Doopers were handed out to all students, and the Wellbeing Committee organised a fun trivia game that brought lots of laughter and friendly competition. A big thank you to those who helped with the setup and pack-up of tables and chairs, it was greatly appreciated and helped make the event such a success.
Thursday was filled with creativity and gratitude. Students contributed to the Gratitude Tree near the undercover court area, decorated tote bags, and took part in bracelet making and mindful colouring in the LRC. Staff also enjoyed a sweet treat at recess, with hot jam donuts waiting for them in the staffroom, which was a well-deserved moment of appreciation and care.
The week concluded on Friday with a strong sense of community. The sausage sizzle at the undercover court area was a hit, raising funds to support families in need, while headspace joined us for games and activities that encouraged connection and fun among students.

A huge thank you goes to our Wellbeing Committee captains, Ava and Athena, for their organisation, leadership, and enthusiasm in coordinating such a successful week. Their efforts helped create a positive and inclusive atmosphere that truly reflected our school’s values of kindness, compassion, and community. 💙
