Spanish

¡Hola de nuevo!

This term, Spanish lessons will be full of energy and creativity as we keep learning new vocabulary through songs, games, and interactive activities. Students will continue using Spanish in meaningful ways while revising some of the main topics from the year.

PREPS

We’ll be revising animals, classroom materials, and family members with plenty of visual support. Songs, games, and movement activities will help students recognise, remember, and use these words with confidence.

Grades 1–2

This term we’ll be learning about places, both around the school and in the city. Students will use maps, pictures, and group activities to talk about familiar places in Spanish and connect them with actions or hobbies. They’ll also keep practising short sentences and spelling through fun games and songs.

Grades 3–4

We’ll explore parts of the body and clothes, two topics closely related to students’ daily lives. Through games, drawing activities, and interactive dynamics, they’ll practise identifying and describing what they wear and name different parts of the body in Spanish.

Grades 5–6

Students will review places around the city and learn how to give and understand directions in Spanish. We’ll also work on daily routines, helping them describe their day and habits through games, short dialogues, and writing activities.

It’s amazing to see how much the students have grown this year and how confidently they use Spanish in class. Their enthusiasm truly makes our lessons special!

¡Feliz trimestre!
