From the Sports Coordinator

Week 4 has been a busy and exciting week for sport at our school. On Tuesday, our students took part in the Cross Country Championships, with more than 20 competitors representing us proudly. The course was a true test of endurance, featuring steep hills and challenging surfaces—an authentic cross‑country experience. Our students showed fantastic resilience, determination and school spirit throughout the event.

Outstanding Results

A huge congratulations to all students who participated and a special mention to:

Luka Z (11 yrs) — 1st in his conference and 2nd overall

Fernando D (11 yrs) — 7th in his conference and 14th overall

Katya C (12 yrs) — 5th in her conference and 14th overall

These are exceptional achievements and we are incredibly proud of them.

Representative Trials

Well done to Katya C (Year 6) and Indianna M (Year 5), who attended the Girls Touch Football trial on Wednesday. We know the students would have demonstrated great skill and represented our school with pride among competitors from many different schools.

Interschool Sport Update

Unfortunately, due to poor weather, the Year 3 Interschool Sport Day was cancelled this week. A new date will be confirmed soon.

There is plenty more to look forward to as the term continues, and we can’t wait to see our students shine in the upcoming events.
