2026 NAPLAN Data

Last week the school received preliminary NAPLAN data. While we are still awaiting State and National comparisons, early indications provide a valuable snapshot of our students’ achievement across Years 3 and 5.

Overall, our students have demonstrated solid performance across all areas, with a number of pleasing strengths evident. Mathematics has emerged as a particular strength, especially in Year 5, where there has been strong growth and a high proportion of students achieving at or above expected levels.

Reading continues to be a strong area for our school, with consistent results across both Year 3 and Year 5. This is encouraging, as reading remains the foundation for learning across all curriculum areas. In literacy, results in Grammar and Punctuation have shown improvement in Year 3 and remain strong in Year 5.

As a school, we will be using this data to further refine our teaching practices, with a particular focus on supporting students in the developing range and ensuring continued growth for all learners.

Once we receive more detailed information, including State comparisons and individual student reports, we will share this with families. Individual NAPLAN reports will be sent home as soon as they become available later this term.
