Pentecost

We are delighted to invite you to join us on Friday, May 22nd, for a special morning of reflection and celebration. Year 6 students will be performing a reenactment of Pentecost. This performance serves as the meaningful finale to a school-wide "Walking Pilgrimage" designed to bring the scriptures to life for our students.

The event will begin promptly first thing in the morning. During the pilgrimage, each class will journey through the school grounds to experience the events that took place during Holy Week. This journey allows students to reflect on the path from Lent to Easter before arriving at the joy of the Pentecost celebration led by our Year 6 class.

Pentecost Mass

All students and parents are also warmly invited to attend the 10:30am Mass at Our Lady Star of the Sea Parish on Sunday 24th May. This is a significant occasion in our liturgical calendar, as our Year 6 students will be taking an active role in leading the Pentecost Mass. It promises to be a very special moment for our school and parish community to come together in faith, and we would love to have you join us for this celebration.

Whole School Mass – The Most Sacred Heart of Jesus + Pyjama Day

Please mark your calendars for Friday, June 12th parents are invited to attend our whole school Mass at 9:15am. This service will be led by our Year 4 students. In keeping with the tradition established last year, all students are invited to wear their pyjamas to school and Mass on this day.

This gesture serves as a reminder for our community to reflect on the comforts we are fortunate to have, while turning our thoughts to those individuals who are less fortunate. We hope you will join us for this unique and thoughtful celebration of gratitude and empathy.
