Menu items will change from week to week.

Kitchen Garden

Each week during Kitchen Garden sessions, Kathryn has 3 different areas of focus for the students. This week the learning focused on:

  • Kitchen Skills Focus - grating, juicing and safe knife skills
  • Produce Focus - Zucchini and Carrots
  • Garden Skills Focus - plant identification and how to net the fruit trees

Those of us who were lucky enough to come to our Welcome Afternoon Tea on Thursday had the opportunity to sample  some chocolate and zucchini cake, carrot muffins and lemon cordial all prepared by the students. If you would like to have a go at making them at home, here are the recipes:

Around our gardens you may now notice some signs.  Our 3/4 class has made signs to label the produce growing around our school.  Very informative!
