Message from the Campus Principal
Kerrie Neophytou
Dear Parents,
We would like to share Ms Neophytou's staff induction statement, which was read at our service at Wyndham City Church on Sunday, 8 February 2026.
Our College is built on solid biblical values. We are built on rock — on Jesus Christ and His Word. In Scripture, Jesus reminds us that the wise builder builds on the rock, so that when the storms come, the house stands firm. This is not just a metaphor for faith; it is a way of life and a way of leading a school, and we are quite literally, built on rock.
While the world around us changes rapidly, our foundation remains secure, steady, and unchanging.
Being built on rock does not mean standing still. In fact, it gives us the confidence to grow, to innovate, and to prepare our students well for the world they are stepping into. From this strong foundation, we intentionally develop the 21st-century capabilities known as the 6 Cs.
We nurture Character, shaped by Christ-like values such as integrity, resilience, humility, and service. We foster Citizenship, encouraging students to contribute positively to their communities and to live out biblical justice, compassion, and stewardship. We strengthen Collaboration, reflecting God’s design for community as students learn to work together with respect and grace. We grow Communication, teaching students to speak truth with love, to listen well, and to express themselves with clarity and confidence. We encourage Creativity, reflecting the Creator God, as students imagine, design, and solve problems in new and meaningful ways. And we develop Critical Thinking, grounded in wisdom and discernment, enabling students to evaluate ideas thoughtfully through the lens of biblical truth.
It is from this foundation that we are seeing exciting growth across our College. We are deeply thankful for the development of our new gymnasium and STEAM Centre — spaces that will support wellbeing, innovation, collaboration, and excellence in learning. These facilities are not just buildings; they are environments where students will discover gifts, develop skills, and prepare for future pathways.
We are also celebrating a significant milestone as we welcome our first Year 11 VCE students. This moment marks the beginning of senior secondary education at our College and reflects our commitment to providing a rigorous, Christ-centred education that prepares students for life beyond school.
As we continue to grow, we do so with confidence and humility, knowing that we are building on the rock. Anchored in Christ, guided by Scripture, and committed to excellence, we trust that what God is establishing sustainability— equipping our students not only to succeed, but to stand firm, lead wisely, and serve faithfully in the world.
At the heart of our College is our close relationship with Wyndham City Church. This partnership is not simply an association, but a shared mission — to nurture children in faith, character, and purpose. Together, we are committed to seeing young people grow in Christ, supported by a community that prays together, serves together, and walks alongside families with love and care. Wyndham City Church is truly the spiritual heartbeat of our school, grounding all, that we do in faith, hope, and love.
Our school is embraced with LOVE — we have amazing staff who journey and care for our students and each other.
For us, LOVE means Listening before we lead, choosing understanding over reaction, especially in moments of challenge. It means Offering calm, not control - responding with steady words and a gentle tone, at all times. LOVE calls us to Value every member of our Christway family with dignity, and recognising each student as made in God’s image and worthy of respect, patience, and care. And it means Encouraging growth through grace - guiding, correcting, and restoring in ways that build character, confidence, and hope.
This is lived out daily through our wonderful staff, who consistently show care, professionalism, and deep commitment to the children entrusted to them. Our teachers and support staff invest not only in learning, but in relationships — knowing students well, setting clear boundaries, and walking alongside them with wisdom and compassion. We are deeply grateful for a team who understands that genuine love creates safe, strong learning environments where children can flourish academically, socially, and spiritually.
