Integrated Studies 

This term our integrated unit is Civics and Citizenship - Who We Are. We will be looking at the idea of community, who makes up a community and the diverse make up of our TPS community. 

We will start by looking at who makes up our classroom with particular focus on our diverse backgrounds, nationalities, cultures and traditions. 

If you would be interested in coming into our classroom to speak and share about your family culture and traditions, please get in touch with your student's classroom teacher. We would love the opportunity to have guest speakers to share.

As a way to gather some information on who makes up our classes, we are sending home a questionnaire. This will be sent as a hard copy and an electronic copy will be sent via Compass. Please help your 3/4 student to fill in this questionnaire and return it to school.

Hockey Clinic

On Thursday 12th Students in 3/4 took part in a hockey clinic led by players from the Yarra Hockey Club. 

They taught kids the fundamentals of the game and did a number of drills focusing on developing key skills. 

Then students put these skills into practice in mini games where either 1 v 1 or 2 v 2 teams attempted to score the first goal. 

It was a lot of fun and the kids showed great skill, patience and determination throughout the session.
