What’s going on in the Leadership Centre?

It has been another full and engaging week of learning in the Senior School!

In Mathematics, students have been building their skills in vertical addition, focusing on place value and carefully aligning digits to solve more complex problems with accuracy and confidence. They have also been exploring angles, identifying acute, right and obtuse angles and practising how to measure them accurately using protractors.

In English, students have been writing engaging narratives using story grammar. By learning about orientation, complication, climax and resolution, they are developing well-structured stories with detailed characters and settings.

During Guided Inquiry, students investigated renewable and non-renewable resources, discussing how these resources are formed, how they are used, and why making sustainable choices is so important for our future.

We also started our I.C.E program this week, students were very excited to be working in their new groups!

Warm regards,

The Senior Team

Nick, Julia, Amanda, Gabby, Jonny, Miss Liu, Ros, Claire, Ciara, Jess and Sam
