OSHCLUB News
This week was full of creativity, teamwork, and meaningful conversations as we explored our theme of caring for our environment in celebration of Clean Up Australia. Children showed wonderful enthusiasm in learning how small actions can make a big difference in keeping our community clean and safe.
Our Breakfast Club offered a delicious start to each morning, with favourites including waffles, yoghurt cones, oatmeal breakfast cookies, fruit skewers, and homemade choc-chip muffins. In Snack Squad, children enjoyed a variety of tasty and filling options such as nachos, pasta, popcorn, and DIY sushi bowls. Our new menu addition, pho noodles, was a big hit, with many children excited to try something new!
This week’s cooking activity gave children the opportunity to bake brownies completely from scratch. They loved measuring, mixing, and watching their hard work turn into a delicious treat. Cooking activities continue to build children’s confidence, independence, and practical life skills.
Our creative space was buzzing with imagination. Children worked collaboratively to build detailed LEGO villages, completed group puzzles, and learned a new Japanese paper craft called Kirigami. Friendship bracelets were a popular choice, encouraging connection and kindness, while guided drawing helped children develop their artistic skills and confidence.
Outdoor play was filled with energy and teamwork. Children participated in dance challenges, Gang-Up Tiggy, Octopus, Everyone’s It, basketball, dodgeball, soccer, and gagaball. These games supported physical wellbeing while encouraging cooperation, resilience, and fun.
To connect with our weekly theme, children explored sustainability through hands-on experiences. They created impressive 3D cardboard constructions using recycled materials we had been collecting and made unique pasta portraits using leftover pasta to promote reusing resources. To finish the week, children took part in a whole-yard rubbish clean-up, showing pride in their school and demonstrating their commitment to caring for the environment.
It was wonderful to see the children working together, trying new experiences, and taking positive steps to care for their world. We look forward to another exciting week ahead!

Cancellation of Bookings
IMPORTANT: If your child is booked in for an afternoon Stay and Play session and that booking is no longer required, please cancel the booking on the iParent Portal. If you are cancelling on the day, please contact us on the program phone before 3:15pm.
We are responsible for all children booked into our care. If a child does not arrive after school care when booked in to attend, we will need to confirm the whereabouts of the child by contacting parents/guardians and emergency contacts. If we cannot successfully do this, it then becomes a missing child incident.
As you can imagine, this can be very stressful!
Thanks for your cooperation by notifying us of any Stay and Play absences.
