Year 4 have made a fantastic start to the term and have settled into their learning routines brilliantly. In Maths, the children have shown great enthusiasm and determination as they begin exploring new concepts. It has been wonderful to see their resilience and positive attitudes.

In Literacy, the class has also shown focus and creativity. They are developing their writing skills by exploring new vocabulary and improving sentence structure. Our mentor text this term is How to Train Your Dragon, which they are enjoying. The children are getting into their fantasy genre writing focus, using the text to inspire their own descriptive writing and storytelling.

Reading continues to be a real strength in Year 4. The children are demonstrating excellent comprehension skills and having thoughtful discussions about texts. We are incredibly proud of how well they have begun the year and look forward to seeing their continued progress. Keep up the fantastic work, Year 4!
