The VAPS VCE Teacher Meet Ups are an opportunity to get together with other VCE Philosophy teachers to support each other, seek advice from others, share resources, moderate, and generally keep our community connected.

New Study Design Support
In 2024, VAPS dedicated 2 days to unpacking and collectively resourcing for the new study design. These resources are uploaded to our website. The content is behind a paywall accessible via a VAPS membership.
You can find:

- Lists with Contemporary Applications and Case Studies
VCE PIPS Event - Science Gallery of UniMelb - Year 11
This year VAPS has organised a PIPS event for Year 11 VCE Philosophy Students. It will be held again at the University of Melbourne's Science Gallery.

2026 VCE Forums
VAPS will continue to run forums but in a different format to the past, to better align with the new study design.
We have two forums in the works, a Unit 3+4 forum in August (TBC) & and Exam Revision forum in October.
If you want to be on the list to hear about updates when these events are finalised, put your name down in this form

2025 - Set Text PDF
The set texts for the new study design have been released. Tyson Foreman has collated them all and has been very generous with allowing VAPS to distribute.
It is available permanently via the member resources page on the VAPS website (and will be there for the next 4 years for future reference, unless VCAA makes any revisions).
It is also available here for convenience now.
2026 - Set Text Audiobooks
The set texts for the new study design have been converted to auido or students' (and teachers') listening ease. These are available via the VAPS youtube or youtube music. The link is here. Audio is AI generated and is based off the set text reader.
