Water Polo Competition
On Thursday, December 5th, the CWWHSSA Water Polo competition took place at the Oasis, with both our girls' and boys' teams showcasing exceptional talent.
The girls' team excelled in the round games winning convincingly against Kooringal High School, Wagga High and Mater Dei. TRAC were a tough competition and were the team to beat in the final. Finishing second overall in the round games, we made the final and put on a hard fought performance against state and national players from TRAC. We lost 6-4 and were runners up on the day. Our girls performance throughout the day was nothing short of spectacular, demonstrating impressive teamwork, strategic plays, and unwavering determination.
Our boys team was made up of keen students who were eager to learn the skills and tactics of Water Polo. With only two students having played before, we were a bit green, but that did affect our determination throughout the day. Unfortunately, they didn't manage to secure a win this year. However, they displayed great spirit and determination, and we commend them for their efforts.

Two teams of 8 boys and 8 girls played a round robin of three games and came away with two wins against Mater Dei and TRAC. Our students displayed a commitment to training, great teamwork, improved game skills, sportsmanship and responsibility while completing several duties throughout the day.
