This week in the Resilience Project, Grade 2 Students will discuss what to do when we have no one to play with and understand that it is ok to be alone sometimes.


VOCABULARY

Being alone is healthy if it is a choice we have made, and we have positive relationships we can then go back to. It is important to embrace our own uniqueness, it’s OK to just be yourself. 


ACTIVITIES YOU CAN DO AT HOME TO SUPPORT YOUR CHILD'S LEARNING

With your child, set aside time for quiet activities like drawing, reading, or writing in a journal. 

 

Encourage them to enjoy this time alone and reflect on how they feel, and do some quiet time reflection.
