What's Happening in the F/1 Classroom?
We have been busy working on cards and gifts to take to Nagambie Aged Care. The students have designed their own cards, using lots of colour to brighten our the Aged Care residents Christmas. The students also made star ornaments for their buddies to hang in their rooms. The children will be performing some Christmas carols and spending time with the residents on their last day of school.
A couple of weeks ago we made our very own grass heads. The children used stockings, soil and grass seeds to make their grassheads. After a slow start, they are growing beautifully and the students are enjoying giving them 'haircuts', putting them in the sun and watering them each day.
I would like to send heartfelt thanks to all our families for entrusting Bridgette, Maddy and I, in guiding your child through this year of growth and learning. They have all proven to be very resilient and adaptable, and it's been amazing to see them all grow in confidence as the year has progressed. It has been a joy to spend each day with them and I'm super excited to continue to teach them in 2025! Wishing you all a very Merry Christmas and a safe and happy New Year
