Specialist's Update
Science
Earlier this year students in grades 3-6 participated in the EcoSmart Kids Program. 6B were fortunate enough to be filmed during the incursion for a TV Show featuring the school and the EcoSmart Kids Program. A preview video from the new TV show that will be aired next year can be found at https://youtu.be/xXccL3D9Be4?si=D_LF0b5lMVtTgLK3. The TV feature will have more footage and interviews, along with the awards event so we will update you next year when we have an official date for airing.
We have thoroughly enjoyed bringing science to the students this year.
Thanks,
Sheree Mitchell, Nicole Chidlow and Elliott Stone.

Junior Athletics Day
What an incredible day it was at our Junior Athletics Day! On the morning of Friday the 6th, our Prep to Grade 2 students took to the field showcasing their enthusiasm and sportsmanship across a range of fun activities.
From running races to bean bag tosses, obstacle courses, to long jump, every event was met with smiles, determination, and lots of cheering. It was wonderful to see the students giving their all, supporting their peers, and displaying teamwork.
Congratulations to all our students for their fantastic participation! We’re already looking forward to next year’s Junior Athletics Day.
Kind Regards,

Grade 6 Students vs. Teachers Soccer Tournament: A Defensive Masterclass!
On Friday, the Grade 6 Students vs. Teachers Soccer Tournament brought the school together for an unforgettable hour of fun, skill, and friendly competition. Four teams—Teachers, Plain, Red, and Blue—faced off in tightly contested, low-scoring defensive games. Every match was a showcase of determination and teamwork, with both players and fans fully engaged.
In the end, the Plain team and the Teachers team topped the standings with 1 win and 2 draws each. Top through to bottom was really close with all teams at least registering a draw, an extra win by Red or Blue would have seen them finish on top rather than 3rd and 4th.
Adding to the excitement, the students in the crowd were phenomenal, bringing the energy with their creative signs, enthusiastic cheers, and chants that echoed across the field.
A huge thank-you to the teachers who volunteered their time to play, and congratulations to all the grade 6 participants. We hope you had a fantastic experience and wish you all the best on your high school journey!
