2024 Wrap Up
As we approach the end of another school year, we would like to express our sincere gratitude for your ongoing support and partnership. Together, we've navigated challenges, celebrated successes, and witnessed the incredible growth of our students.
Our students have excelled in academics, sports, and the arts, and our dedicated teachers have gone above and beyond to provide high-quality education.
We want to extend a special thank you to our dedicated staff for their tireless efforts. Your passion and commitment to our students have made a significant impact on their lives.
As we look ahead to the new year, we are excited about the opportunities that lie ahead.

Instrumental Music 2025
Starting next year, Lockleys North is excited to welcome back the Department's Instrumental Music Program. Students in Years 5 and 6 (possibly Year 4) will have the opportunity to learn woodwind instruments, such as the flute, clarinet, and saxophone.
Students will participates in small group lessons, once a week with a maximum of 8 students per group. Lessons will be on Thursday afternoons, 1:30 - 3 pm. There will ben Instrumental Music demonstration for our year 4-6 students on Thursday 6th February.
Once we have held the demonstration, families and students will be encouraged to express interest in the program.
The students will need to commit to a year of learning with parent approval provided, and there will be a cost involved with the hire of the musical equipment.
If there are large numbers of students interested, they will be prioritised int he following order:
- Year 5s - as they will be continuing students in 2026.
- Year 6s
- Year 4s - only if there is space left in the lessons

Staffing Update 2025
Farewell to LNPS Team Members
We bid farewell to some of our exceptional SSOs, Amena Powell, Athan Karkafiris, Zoe Parry and Tarah Will. They have been an integral part of our school community for many years, providing support to our students and being a welcoming face to our school. The LNPS school community is sad to see them go, however also excited for them as they embark on new career opportunities.
New and Returning Staff 2025
We welcome April Adamou to the LNPS team. April will be working in the front office alongside Vanessa and Micki.
We also welcome back Tegan Dart as our Library Manager and Learning Support SSO.
2025 School Term Dates
Term 1 commences on Wednesday 29th January.
Staff will be undergoing training on Tuesday 28th January around our new mathematics program. This is a Pupil Free Day - OSHC will be open.
