Garden Club

Tomatoes, tomatoes!
Yes, it’s that time of the year again - tomato planting! So exciting! It means that the lovely warm weather is on its way and will help the plants produce delicious and nutritious red and yellow tomatoes for us. We enjoyed clearing out the garden beds today and planting them. We also enjoyed digging in the dirt as usual. We always find worms, millipedes and other interesting bugs which is incredibly exciting.
The sleepers have been bought and building will commence shortly on our new garden beds. We are grateful for the money we received from the Woolworths Landcare grant, to pay for these. Some indigenous plants native to our area will be planted and it will be great to watch them grow and see how they bloom or produce fruit.
It’s always fun in the Patch. Please join us any time!
