School Saving Bonus Update

We are currently working with the department on an issue at a school level, activating the School Saving Bonus system. We ask for your patience if contacting the school office.

Parents and Carers should still be able to access the SSB Parents and Carers Portal.

 

Parents and carers of government school students enrolled for 2025 will receive an email from the Department of Education.

 

The email will contain

  • Your unique SSB- School Saving Bonus code to use the $400 support
  • A link to the School Saving Bonus parent and carer online system
  • You will receive an email and code for each eligible student in the family

If you cannot locate the email, check your spam or junk folder. If you have not received your School Saving Bonus code via email by Friday 29th November, please contact the Department of Education by emailing:  school.saving.bonus@education.vic.gov.au

 

What can you use the funds for?

  • Camps, excursions, incursions – You can elect to allocate the full $400 via the SSB portal by selecting school activities and nominating $400. The funds will then sit on your child’s account at the school to be used for these activities.
  • Uniform ordered from Spartan Online. You will need to access the SSB portal, click on Online purchases, select Spartan and the amount you wish to allocate to uniform e.g. $150 and the system will generate a unique code and PIN. Access the Spartan online portal and apply code/PIN at payment.
  • When accessing Compass to give permission and pay for camps and excursions, and you wish to use your SSBonus to cover the event, select CSEF in the payment section to cover the charge.

Funds CANNOT be used for - Contributions, iPads, stationery

Before and After School Supervision

Just a reminder that, all students must be supervised (by a parent/carer or Team Kids) up until 8:45am and after 3:45pm. Any unsupervised child will be placed into the care of Team Kids and the cost borne by parents.

In line with our yard-duty and supervision policy, the school provides staff supervision for students before school between 8:45am and 9am. The school also provides staff supervision for students after school between 3:30pm and 3:45pm.
