From the Principal
Welcome to the second last newsletter of the year. Where has the time gone?
We had our first school disco on November 15th, and by all accounts, both the junior and senior school discos were well attended and enjoyed. Thank you to the PTFA and Melissa Crozier for their work in preparing and running the two discos. Also, a high thank you to the parents who volunteered to help with the night. It was fantastic to see everyone working together to give our students a fun night!
Our Year 2 camp was a great experience for our students - thank you to the staff and parents who gave up their time to attend. This is the last camp of the year and we are very proud of our camping program and the skills they help develop in our students.
Our Sandpit area is now open! We started off with everybody being allowed access at all times but the popularity of this system led to overcrowding and we now have a roster of use - Foundation on Mondays, Year 1 on Tuesdays, Year 2 on Wednesdays, Year 3 on Thursdays and Year 4 on Fridays. Our next project will be GaGa pits which we will begin once the Fire Service work is completed.
We are looking forward to our final weeks and the events we have scheduled. Don't forget to check the dates of the Carols in the Grove - to be held on the basketball courts this year, Graduation for our departing Year 6 students and 2025 classes transition sessions. We also have our Foundation - Year 4 swimming program which will begin next week.
We look forward to seeing you at upcoming events.
