A Visit from Rosie: Exploring the Past

Last Tuesday, the Year 2 cohort had the pleasure of welcoming a very special guest, Rosie, who came to share her knowledge about objects from the past. Rosie is not just any visitor, she used to work at our school many years ago, so it felt like we were meeting someone who had a strong connection to our school’s history.

Rosie brought a collection of fascinating objects with her, each with a story to tell. The students had many questions to ask her including what school used to be like in which Rosie described the differences.

The students all felt grateful for her visit, not only because we learned about the past but because her stories reminded us how much our school has grown and changed over the years.
