Hello, from Carolyn.
Respect, responsibility and kindness
Hello everyone,
Thank you to our choir students, Grade 1/2s and Bridget Finch for a lovely end to our day yesterday. It's always a pleasure to hear our students singing and a special treat having our grade 1/2 students perform their class songs they have been working on. It was great to have such a big audience of appreciative parents and carers too! Thank you for coming along on such a hot day.
STEM 'Circuits and switches' workshops
This year, Gypsy and Audrey have been attending STEM sessions at the Discovery Centre.
Over the year they have participated in a range of different STEM experiments including coding and robotics, circuits and switches and how to drive the Discovery planetarium. Audrey and Gypsy have been outstanding representatives of our school- always respectful, upholding our values and excited to participate and learn.
This week, Gypsy and Audrey planned to take our Grade 3-6 students for circuit and switches workshops in the library. Audrey had a transition session to attend on the day and Ochre stepped in to assist Gypsy. Well done Gypsy on running those sessions so confidently, the students had a great time. Thank you Ochre for assisting Gypsy.
Statewide transition day Tuesday 10th.
Next Tuesday is 'step up' for our students. Our current year 6 students will be visiting their secondary schools and our 2025 Foundation students will be here for the morning. All our students will find out who their teacher will be and which classroom they will be in.
